Who am I and what is this?

Good rhetorical question! I'm a game developer by day, game developer by night. It's my career, my hobby, and my passion. I'm currently employed as a software engineer working in healthcare research, but I'm my heart I'm still a game developer.

I was employed with Bad Rabbit for 4 years and have continued game development after being hired by Huron. Below are a few of my projects!

Guntris

Guntris is a western puzzle shooter made in Unreal Engine 5 by a single developer... Me!

I Architected a novel FPS/Tetris hybrid in Unreal Engine 5 where the player directly manipulates the game state via shooting. Developed a custom Tetris grid system where each block maintains individual physics and special abilities, allowing players to strategically shoot out pieces under pressure. Seamlessly blended traditional Tetris with fast-paced FPS mechanics like targeting enemies that interfere with the game.

This project demonstrates my ability to innovate within UE5, designing and implementing deeply interconnected gameplay systems from the ground up.

Willy Wonka inspired mobile match 3 game

Developed a vibrant mobile match-3 game with a unique 'Wonka-esque' twist on classic mechanics. Built with performance in mind, achieving a consistent 60fps on a wide range of mobile devices. Architected a scalable level and power-up system using C# and Unity, allowing for the rapid prototyping and deployment of hundreds of levels.
